Piquillo peppers of Lodosa

The peppers endorsed by the Denomination of Origin Piquillo Pepper of Lodosa covers whole peppers of the First and Extra categories of the Piquillo variety. Piquillo peppers from Lodosa are cultivated in the southwest of Navarra and have very peculiar characteristics that make them unique: small size (from 8 to 10 cm), flat-triangular shape, a slightly curved tip and a weight of about 35 to 50 gr. This pepper is the red pepper of Navarre par excellence, one of the most coveted canned vegetables in Spain.
