Leartibai cider is artesanally produced at the basque village of Gizaburuaga from grown and collected apples of the shire of Leartibai. The Leartibai cider is elaborated through a coupage of local apple varieties, such as, Bost kantoi, Urtebete, Ibarra, Urdin sagar, Errexil, Goikoetxe and Txalaka.

Leartibai cider is made in Vizcaya and it is part of the label of guarantee Eusko Label, Label that endorses the quality and origin of the product. The cider must be taken not too cold, between 12-13ºC, being poured 30-40 cm from the glass, in this way, the cider breaks and releases lots of the aromas and tastes.
