Flor de Vetus

Flor de Vetus is a wine made with grapes of the Tinta de Toro variety collected in the 20 hectares of vineyards owned in Vetus, during the first week of October. It is hosted by D. O. Toro.

Flor de Vetus is a wine of intense color with a violet rim. Medium-high intensity on the nose reminiscent of ripe red and black fruit. We notice hints of liquorice, spices with a light coffee caramel. On the palate it is powerful and fresh at the same time. We find a well structured and perfectly balanced wine with an exquisite aftertaste.

Bodegas Vetus

Bodegas Vetus has been committed, since 2003, to preserving the essence of Toro, while at the same time being imbued with the discovery of new concepts, new nuances. In 2003, the Antón family, at the head of Artevino, entered Toro, knowing the future and power of the denomination. After selecting different plots in the area, the first Vetus is made, a wine designed to maintain the essence of Toro, investigating new nuances, new concepts. The good results obtained drive the location of a farm in the heart of the denomination where a modern winery is being built that will be inaugurated in 2008.
