La Catedral de Navarra asparagus are produced with white asparagus picked in the firm’s farm based in Mendavia, Navarre. This harvest is made during April and May, in the middle of the season of the asparagus of Navarre. Once picked and selected, the asparagus are blanched and peeled, they are scalded to protect the aromas, before the canned. It is a preserved asparagus with ivory colour, which proves its freshness. All the canned asparagus have the same calibre, having 4 asparagus each can. Perfectly peeled, the asparagus texture is very pleasant. . The white asparagus of Navarre are under the denomination of origin of Asparagus of Navarre.
